Operations Supervisor

Position: Operations Supervisor (Full-Time)

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour

Summary:

The Lowcountry Regional Transit Authority is looking for an Operations Supervisor. The position provides leadership and direction to operators. The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and direction of vehicle operational activities of the routes by performing the duties personally or with the assistance of others and may be on call. Position involves hands-on responsibilities for vehicle operational activities, including driving. The Supervisor will need to make independent decisions affecting the smooth and efficient delivery of the service.

Minimum requirements:

• HS diploma or GED
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License with Air brakes and Passenger Endorsement.
• Must be flexible to work any shifts as hours of work could vary including weekends, evenings and split shifts.
• Have the ability to maintain a variety of clerical records such as those required post-accident or incident.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
