Purpose: The marketing and social media coordinator executes integrated marketing and social media strategies that connect lawyers with continuing legal education (CLE) opportunities and essential Missouri Bar resources that help them better serve their clients.
General Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a thoughtful marketer with strong writing, editing, and design skills who can communicate professionally with lawyers across traditional and digital platforms. Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage engaging social media content directed at lawyers, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
- Market CLE programs and other educational offerings through print, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Advertise member benefits and other Missouri Bar resources that help lawyers even better serve their clients through print, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Contribute to the development and design of program guides and other supporting materials for CLE events.
- Collaborate with CLE staff and other internal teams to ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and aligned with The Missouri Bar’s priorities.
- Assist with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that promote professional development of lawyers across multiple generations and in varying stages of their careers.
- Assist with and travel to on-site events, including multi-day CLE programming.
- Monitor engagement and performance metrics across various platforms and provide insights to improve outreach and effectiveness.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects the professionalism and mission of The Missouri Bar.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or social media.
- Experience creating and managing social media content, preferably for professional or membership-based audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams) preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat preferred.
