Residential Service Plumber

Earl Gray & Sons Plumbing is hiring an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our team in Franklin, IN.

For more than 70 years, Earl Gray & Sons has provided trusted plumbing services throughout Johnson County and surrounding areas. We handle everything from leaking faucets and pipe repairs to water heaters, water softeners, planned maintenance, and larger plumbing projects. We are looking for a dependable plumber who takes pride in quality work, professional customer service, and doing the job right the first time.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose plumbing issues on-site and provide clear, professional recommendations to customers.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings, and drainage systems.
• Repair and replace toilets, faucets, sinks, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other residential or light commercial fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and clear clogged drains and sewer lines using proper tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building specifications for new installations.
• Ensure all work meets local and national plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Provide detailed cost estimates and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked, clean, organized, and ready for daily calls.
• Participate in an after-hours emergency service rotation.
• Deliver high-quality work with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous residential plumbing service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and customers.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Licensed plumber preferred, but experienced candidates will be considered.
