The Warehouse Clerk plays a vital role within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment, handling inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order processing. This position requires light physical activity such as lifting and walking and involves close collaboration within a small team. The Warehouse Clerk utilizes a proprietary Warehouse Management System to ensure accurate data entry, quality control, documentation, safety compliance, and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of goods efficiently
- Process customer orders accurately and promptly
- Perform data entry using proprietary Warehouse Management System
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Maintain proper documentation for shipments and receipts
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively within a small team environment
- Provide support to customers regarding order status and inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Associate Degree in Logistics or related field
- Proficient in Inventory Management Systems and RF Scanning
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
