ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

Lubbock IEC will be accepting applications for the 2026/2027 program year June 8, 2026 – July 2, 2026.

This is a four-year DOL approved apprenticeship program, with approximately 30 positions open.

Minimum requirements for Lubbock IEC Apprenticeship:

• Be employed by an IEC Member Contractor (employment not guaranteed)
• Must not be less than 17 years of age
• Have high school diploma or GED
• Be physically capable of performing essential job functions
• Be licensable by Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation

Documentation Required at the time of application

• Drivers License or State ID
• Social Security Card
• High School Diploma, Transcripts, or GED Certificate
• Apprentice Electrician License
