Anchor & Reporter, F/T sought by Univision Television Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA to be resp for presenting local & national news stories on television & streaming for Univision Los Angeles' news-rltd television prgms, typically in a studio setting, by reading scripts, interviewing guests, & delivering live updates, while maintaining a prof'l demeanor & ensuring accuracy in reporting current events. Write & anchor newscasts as assigned, gathering info from various sources, analyzing news stories, & crafting clear, concise scripts for broadcast. Dvlp & maintain good relationships w/ news sources. Generate community-rltd stories & participate in community events on behalf of the station. Interpret & translate the news from English to accurate Spanish. Maintain a high degree of knowl of current affairs & community events. May also, on occasion, provide svcs to our sister national n/works as needed. Must be fluent in written & spoken Spanish. Must have exp presenting Spanish-language news in television studio & in the field. Must have exp generating & editing news scripts for broadcast.
