At JAK Logistics I am seeking two full time OTR professional Class A team drivers with doubles endorsements who want to run miles. No touch freight - all drop and hook. At the start of the three week on one week off assignment you will commute to the Phoenix FedEx hub from the Tracy, CA FedEx hub to run unassigned work. At the end of the third week you will get a load back to the Tracy, CA FedEx hub to begin your home time. 34 hour resets can be taken at a hotel in the Phoenix area. After the week off you will come back for the monthly three week assignment. No owner operators. Schedule is subject to change based on volume needs and hours of service. $1,500 Minimum Gross Guarantee so long as dispatch is not refused. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM OTR position. You must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can be done from any smartphone. Pay:
- $1,500 sign on bonus at 90 days. $2,000 sign on bonus at 90 days for active and current FedEx drivers. $1,500 Minimum Gross Guarantee
- Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
- Monthly cell phone payment available.
- FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
- Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
- Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required. If you do not have doubles experience you can be trained.
- You must be dependable, with transportation to and from the Tracy, CA yard. If you live in the Sacramento area you can bobtail down to Tracy from our Sacramento yard. You must be ready to show up on time with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.
More details:
Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2023/2024 Freightliner with a DD15 engine, refrigerator, premium mattress, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
