Electrical Estimator (Industrial Projects)
Location: South Jersey (Local Candidates Preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $85,000 – $115,000/year (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
Fritz Staffing Group is actively seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator with a strong background in industrial construction. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced team working on large-scale projects including data centers, power plants, manufacturing facilities, and heavy commercial builds.
This role is local to South Jersey and ideal for candidates familiar with the regional market and project landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical scopes
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
- Identify scope gaps, overlaps, and potential risk areas
- Support procurement and project teams to ensure budget alignment
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and field teams
- Track and manage estimate revisions as designs evolve
- Maintain organized documentation for all estimates and revisions
Required Software Experience
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Accubid 16 (required – not Accubid Anywhere)
- PlanSwift
- BlueBeam
- Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Strong background in industrial construction (data centers, power plants, manufacturing, heavy commercial)
- Solid understanding of:
- Electrical distribution systems
- Switchgear
- Power systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving design environment
