Position Available: Laborers and Skilled Dirt Operators

L. King Company, LLC is actively recruiting reliable Laborers and experienced Dirt Operators to join our team serving the Baton Rouge & Livingston Parish area. We are seeking operators who are proficient with excavators, dozers, and backhoes and who take pride in maintaining equipment and delivering quality earthwork on schedule. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking for long-term employment with a stable, regional contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, dozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently on residential, commercial, and public works projects.
• Perform routine pre-operation inspections, report maintenance needs, and follow equipment service schedules.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and general dirt work as directed.
• Follow site safety plans, traffic control procedures, and supervisor instructions to maintain a hazard-free jobsite.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, backhoes).
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Valid drivers license; reliable transportation to job sites in the Baton Rouge & Livingston Parish area.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
