FINANCE DIRECTOR

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Director. The Finance Director is a senior executive responsible for managing and maintenance of all financial records and activities of the Lower Savannah Council of Governments including financial planning, budgeting, audits, forecasting and ensuring compliance with Council policies and state and federal regulations, and is responsible to assure that the LSCOG departments and sub-contracting agencies maintain accurate financial reporting to the Council of Governments.

Candidate must have extensive experience in accounting or financial management, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Proficient in accounting related software, such as databases, spreadsheets, accounting software, payroll and audit processes. Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business-related fields and four (4) years of grants-related experience in a non-profit sector organization and at least two (2) years supervising/managing staff preferred.  For more information visit www.lscog.org
