Who We Are: PayLynxs provides modern compliance solutions to community financial institutions through our SimpliRisk platform. We partner closely with credit unions and banks to simplify BSA/AML/Fraud workflows, improve risk management, and support regulatory confidence.
Our environment fosters independence, flexibility and a results-oriented culture, while also encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous education and improvement. We like team players that want to lead and grow in their areas of expertise. As a software company we strive for continuous automation.
We like challenging work, but we also know that proper work/life balance yields better results for everyone. Our team doesn't clock in and clock out at fixed times, they manage their work and delivery results.
Who You Are: You're a BSA/AML/Fraud Subject Matter Expert (SME), looking to help financial institutions succeed with our SimpliRisk platform. This role is ideal for an experienced BSA compliance professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and applying realworld compliance knowledge, without the daytoday pressure of case queues or regulatory exams. You'll work closely with bank and credit union clients, helping them migrate their BSA/AML/Fraud programs on to SimpliRisk to support efficient, automated and practical workflows.
Other qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in a BSA/AML/Fraud compliance role at a bank or credit union
- Strong consultative communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance and technical concepts to non-experts
- Comfortable working with data and answering detailed client questions about software features and functionality within the SimpliRisk platform
- Willing to be both strategic and hands-on
- Hands-on experience using commercial BSA/AML software platforms, with familiarity in areas such as transaction monitoring, alerts, investigations, and customer due diligence workflows
- Familiarity with SAR and CTR processes and supporting documentation
- Understanding of how alert rules or monitoring models are configured and tuned, at a conceptual level, to support effective transaction monitoring
- Experience training, mentoring, or supporting others on compliance workflows, tools, or systems
- Exposure to broader bank operations (such as deposits, payments, or frontline workflows) sufficient to understand how BSA/AML requirements intersect with daytoday banking activity
What You'll Do: As a Senior Client Success Specialist, you'll be one of the first subject-matter contacts for new customers and a key partner throughout their journey with SimpliRisk.
A typical day will consist of:
- Leading client onboarding and training sessions for new and existing customers, including platform setup, configuration, and best-practice usage
- Being viewed by clients as a trusted BSA/AML/Fraud workflow advisor, not just a product trainer
- Help clients understand how regulatory expectations translate into practical workflows within the SimpliRisk platform, particularly in preparation for audits and exams
- Influencing product or training improvements based on real client compliance challenges
- Serving as a subject-matter resource for the Customer Support team, helping with BSA/AML concepts and practices
- Handling support inquiries related to BSA/AML use cases, including transaction monitoring workflows, alerts and investigations, CDD/EDD data, and platform configuration
- Contributing to internal training materials, documentation, and playbooks
- Identifying common client challenges and partnering with Product and Support leadership to improve training, workflows, and tooling
What your day won't include:
- Acting as a BSA Officer, investigator or compliance signatory
- Owning regulatory exams or audits
