Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Based in our White House, TN Corporate Office

Schaffhouser Electric, a rapidly growing Veteran-owned Industrial Electrical Contractor, is seeking a Human Resources Manager based in our corporate office in White House, Tennessee, supporting teams across multiple states.

This role leads the daily functions of Human Resources while managing the full recruiting process, with a strong focus on hiring skilled trades such as Industrial Electricians (Apprentices, Journeymen, and Foremen). The Human Resources Manager works closely with leadership to support workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead and oversee the daily functions of the Human Resources department.

·         Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job posting through onboarding.

·         Post job openings, source and screen candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.

·         Work closely with operational leaders to understand staffing needs and required skills, particularly for skilled trades positions.

·         Provide guidance to management on employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.

·         Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

·         Oversee HR processes including compensation, benefits administration, employee records, and policy management.

·         Ensure a positive and professional hiring experience for all candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

·         Support employee development initiatives and internal growth opportunities.

·         Assist with HR projects and initiatives that improve company processes and culture.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·         Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

·         Minimum 5 years of human resources experience, including recruiting and talent acquisition.

·         Experience recruiting skilled trades

·         Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

·         Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office

·         SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
