Fill prescriptions to proper amount. Check patients' allergies, medical conds, & other drugs they are taking. Instruct patients on proper use, side effects, & storage of prescribed med. Admin vaccines, such as flu shots. Advise patients about general health topics. Work w/ insurance co's to resolve billing issues. Supervs work
of pharmacy techs & pharmacists in training (interns). Maint patient & pharmacy rcrds. Educate other healthcare workers about proper med therapies for patients. Req PharmD
in Pharmaceutical Sci &
