The IT Support and Business Applications Administrator is primarily responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of the Company’s IT equipment, systems, and the company’s business applications.
This role includes the management of the company’s email service, communication systems, and working with software application vendors. The company has a third-party IT vendor that provides higher level IT support as needed.
This is an in-office position with the ability to work remotely when needed outside of normal business hours. The occasional needs to work outside of normal business hours are typically related to software installation and updates, systems or network maintenance issues, or to test disaster recovery procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
· Provides daily IT support to branch and Home Office staff - helpdesk, troubling shooting and software support
· Assist with the management of business applications, including loan management software (LMS) systems, and access to vendor’s online databases.
· Assist with monitoring data security and compliance with relevant financial regulations
· Assist management to maximize productivity of the company through the proper use of computer applications.
· Work with application vendors to resolve application issues, the timely transfer of data to service providers, and to ensure compliance to all performance standards
· Work with management team to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Lead small-scale technology projects including software implementation, system integrations, and infrastructure upgrade.
· Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for outsourced IT services and software
· Train and support staff on IT tools and cybersecurity awareness
Skills & Requirements
· A working knowledge of personal computers, printers, scanner, networks, VPNs, and cybersecurity. Extensive knowledge of computer networking, its installation and administration are not required. An independent IT contractor is retained for more advanced technical network and PC issues.
· Ability to identify and resolve hardware and application program problems.
· Proficiency with installation and management of Microsoft applications (i.e. Windows, Outlook, Office 365) and Adobe Acrobat.
· Knowledge and experience with consumer finance applications is preferred but not required.
· Good verbal and written communications skills
· Strong prioritization and organization skills
