Broad Creek PSD | Operations Department 

Broad Creek PSD is seeking a Utility Service Technician to support the operation and  maintenance of our water and wastewater systems. This is an entry-level position with  training opportunities and room for growth in the utility field. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on water and  wastewater facilities 
• Assist with testing, documentation, and monitoring of treatment processes • Respond to system alarms, service calls, and field emergencies • Repair and install water and sewer lines, meters, and related equipment • Operate equipment such as backhoes and skid steer loaders 
• Support general facility upkeep and safety practices 

What We’re Looking For: 

• High school diploma or GED 
• Valid driver’s license 
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn 
• Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in an on-call rotation 
• Capable of obtaining water, wastewater, or distribution certifications (Class D or  higher) within 2 years of application

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt 

Pay: Starts at $24/hr
