Why Join Prefab Logic?
Prefab Logic is redefining modular construction by tightly integrating BIM, manufacturing, and
field execution. We focus on constructability-first design—ensuring what’s modeled can actually
be built efficiently on the factory floor and installed without rework.
Our factory integration team sits at the intersection of BIM, shop drawings, and production. This
role is critical to making sure digital coordination translates into real-world results.
We live by our core values:
• Family First – Take care of our people, and they’ll take care of our customers.
• Stay Hungry – Be proactive, commit to growth, and keep moving forward.
• Details Matter – Small details have a big impact—review your work and commit to quality.
• Ownership – Honor commitments, own mistakes, and lead by example.
These values guide every hiring, review, and leadership decision at Prefab Logic.
Position Overview
The BIM Factory Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining
accurate BIM models and shop drawings that directly support factory production. This role
ensures seamless coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP systems—bridging
the gap between design intent and manufacturable reality.
Working closely with factory personnel, engineers, and BIM leadership, the BIM Factory
Coordinator resolves conflicts, supports fast-track problem solving, and ensures models are
production-ready. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical modeling skills, clear
communication, and a practical understanding of construction and modular workflows.
Work Schedule & Shift Structure
This position operates on a dedicated 3-day factory production shift, intentionally aligned with
active manufacturing.
• Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Total: 36 hours per week
This is not a remote or check-in role. The BIM Factory Coordinator is expected to be present,
engaged, and responsive during live factory production, providing real-time coordination and
problem resolution when it matters most.
Candidates must be comfortable working a weekend-focused schedule and see value in a
compressed workweek. Occasional flexibility outside scheduled hours may be required.
Why This Schedule Works (and Who Thrives in It)
This role is designed for people who:
• Prefer execution over meetings
• Like solving problems while work is happening
• Value four weekdays free for personal priorities
• Are energized by being close to the build, not buffered from it
If weekend factory production sounds like a burden, this role will not be a fit.
