Why This Role Rocks
As our Manager Support Services, you’ll be the driving force behind the daily operations of our Support Center properties. This role blends hands‑on facility upkeep with strategic planning, vendor management, and team leadership. You’ll oversee repairs, maintenance, mail services, and property operations while helping shape the standards, processes, and improvements that keep our spaces running at their best. *This is an on-site position based at our Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky
Lead, schedule, and manage Support Services staff for daily maintenance and repairs across the Support Center, Willie’s Joynt, and the Test Kitchen.
Prioritize organizational needs, work orders, and facility‑related requests.
Oversee and monitor custodial contracts for the Support Center and Willie’s Joynt.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, laws, regulations, and property management standards.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts for external maintenance services.
Assist in developing policies, procedures, and best practices for building and property maintenance.
Coordinate facility projects with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and outside agencies.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction‑related issues, disputes, and compliance matters.
Oversee procurement of equipment, supplies, and materials.
Manage maintenance and oversight of company‑owned and leased vehicles.
Assist with budgeting and ongoing financial management for Support Services.
Prepare reports, correspondence, purchase orders, budget documents, records, and presentations.
Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, codes, and technical specifications.
Hire, schedule, and manage performance for the facilities and mailroom team (currently 4 full‑time team members).
Coach and develop team members to support continued growth and operational excellence.
Serve as backup for the Senior Support Services Manager when needed.
Support company‑wide events as requested.
Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
5–10 years of related experience in facilities, property maintenance, or a similar field.
Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
Skilled in vendor management, contract oversight, and project coordination.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
