Driver Recruiter

Gypsum Express, LTD is looking for a Driver Recruiter in our Demotte, IN Terminal. As a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for locating, screening and qualifying applicants who meet all DOT and company hiring standards/criteria for local and regional driving positions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for full cycle recruitment of CDL-A drivers including sourcing and assessing of candidates for driving positions.
• Possess expert knowledge of company information for recruiting candidates including hiring areas, positions available, equipment knowledge, and compensation packages available to candidates.
• Ensure quick response time when communicating with candidates.
• Must be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations surrounding pre-employment process.
• Serve as the initial contact for all Local/regional applicants.
• Use interview and questioning techniques to determine if the applicant meets the qualifications for the position.
• Prioritize qualified applications for processing purposes.
• Maintain contact with applicant, make initial offer of employment and schedule applicant to company orientation.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
• Must be truthful, sincere and dedicated.
• Must be willing and able to travel if needed.
• Knowledgeable in DOT and company hiring policies and procedures.
• Knowledgeable in all areas of the company operating procedures.
