Job Summary

Koch Carriers proudly transports cabinets and doors across the United States.  The OTR truck driver operates a semi-truck and van trailer to deliver products.

Essential Job Functions

Able to safely drive a semi-truck and van trailer to deliver products to specific destinations
Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Safely unload cabinets to trailer tailgate
Successfully operate an ELD
Communicate regularly with supervisor
 

Requirements

21 years or older
Valid Class A CDL
One year of over the road experience
 

Responsibilities

Ability to follow pre-determined schedule for all delivery routes
Ability to read and write to understand instructions and maintain records
Keep truck and trailers clean
Communicate respectfully with customers or individuals receiving the product
Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
 

Physical Demands

The employee is required to walk, bend, twist and reach. When unloading cabinets, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pound. The employee must work without the influence of illicit drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicating substances.

Expected Hours of Work

Drivers typically take 2-3 loads a week depending on the distance from the pickup location. Drivers are home every weekend.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Employer participates in E-verify program. A clearinghouse query and MVR report will also be completed.
