Position Summary: Reporting to the Publisher and working closely with the Editor and company leadership, the Director of Development is responsible for designing and executing a sustainable, mission-aligned fundraising strategy for Anchorage Daily News.                  They develop and execute the fundraising strategy, securing and growing philanthropic partnerships, ensuring strong donor relations, implementing engagement initiatives, and soliciting and stewarding philanthropic gifts of all sizes to benefit the local and national programs and objectives of the Anchorage Daily News.
