Human Resource Manager - City of Bristol Tennessee, under general supervision of the Director of Administration, is seeking a Human Resource Manager. This is a working manager position with oversight and responsibility for functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment, selection, onboarding, HRIS, leave administration, and compliance. Provides advice, assistance and followup on City policies, procedures, and documentation. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for his/her own projects and work plan in addition to managing a staff.
Successful candidates must have ability to plan, coordinate, and direct work of the department, effectively communicate with staff, other city departments, and the public, and ability to research complex issues and recommend an effective course of action.
