Job Description Job Description ****MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH ASPHALT AND OUTSIDE******* We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Worker to join our road construction crew. In this role, you will prep, lay, and finish asphalt for roads, driveways, and parking lots. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that requires endurance, a focus on safety, and the ability to work alongside paving machinery in varying Florida weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Site Preparation: Clean and sweep surfaces (curbs, gutters), spray tack coat/oil, and dig out or repair potholes and subsurface materials. Asphalt Application: Shovel, rake, and lute (smooth) hot-mix asphalt to the proper grade, thickness, and slope as it is laid. Compaction & Finishing: Operate or assist with vibratory compactors, rollers, and hand tampers to ensure smooth, properly compacted surfaces.
