HIRING: EVENT SETUP & BREAKDOWN CREW — BIG ISLAND
Aloha!
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking crew members to help deliver, set up, and break down events. Most of our events take place at Four Seasons, Kona Village, Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, and Fairmont resorts.
The work includes:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Delivering and setting up furniture, bars, décor, and other event rentals.
- Using drills and tools to assemble furniture, build arbors, and complete event setups.
- Returning after events to break down and load equipment.
Schedule:
We typically set up during the day and return around 10 p.m. for breakdown. Split shifts and late nights are part of the job. Nighttime breakdown-only crew members are also welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- Able to safely lift and move heavy items weighing up to 100 lbs., using team lifts and equipment as needed.
- Comfortable with long hours and physically demanding outdoor work in the sun.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a 16–20-foot box truck.
- Comfortable using a drill and assembling event equipment.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and clear, professional communication with clients and coworkers.
