Robot Software Engineer Technical Lead
Onward Robotics (Pittsburgh, PA) for leading dvlpmnt & exctn of rbtcs prjcts from concept to dplmnt; wrkng w/team of engnrs & tchncns; brngig deep expertise in rbtcs engnrng, incl. knwldg of rbtc hrdwr, sftwr, snsrs & cntrl syst; define syst rqrmnts, dvlp archtctr & dsgn rbtc sltns;. Masters degree in Mechatronics or Rbtcs Engnrng +3 years of prior wrk exprnc in pstn offrd or rltd in autnms rbtcs sys dvlpmnt & implmntn. Must know (through acdmc trng or work exprnc) prgrmng lngs Python, C++, Robot Oprtng Sys (ROS); strong undrstndng of robotics prncpls incl kinematics, dynamics, perception, Simultaneous Localization & Mapping (SLAM), sensor fusion, state estimation, control, navigation, path planning & obstacle avoidance; ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues & proficiency in system architecture & software development techniques.
