Job Description
We are an independent Alaskan private practice seeking an evening teleradiologist on a 7 on - 14 off schedule.
7 on - 14 off compensation (18 weeks): $481,950
Shift Hours: 4 PM PST - 1 AM PST
Details: Contract will be structured as a 1099. 9 hour shifts at $425/hr or $3,825 per shift. On average the workload is 70 wRVU per shift which comes out to $55/wRVU.
Reading radiologist has double coverage with a second radiologist during all hours from 4 PM PST to 1 AM PST.
Case Mix: bread and butter community-based inpatient/ED radiology. No high-level trauma or complex tertiary center cases. About half the volume is x-ray and the other half is a mixture of CT and US with occasional MRI.
Additional weekend daytime shifts would be available if desired. Malpractice insurance, state license fees and all computer equipment covered. McKesson and Mach7 PACS with PowerScribe.
Alaska Imaging is a long established independent private practice group based out of Southcentral and Southeast Alaska. We provide on-site service to hospitals and outpatient imaging centers primarily in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley and Juneau as well as teleradiology services across the broader state.
