Residential Service Craftsman

Mr. Handyman of Northern Pittsburgh, South Hills, Moon needs you! Our service area covers the North Hills (up to Zelienople), South Hills (including Washington county), and Beaver County. Preference given to candidates that live in those areas.

As a Residential Service Craftsman, you’ll handle carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties. You’ll communicate clearly with customers, manage their expectations, and exceed them with your exceptional work.

Standards: We set the bar high and expect nothing less. Our Service Professionals must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in residential remodeling or the trades industry, with 5-7 years preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be willing to submit to a background and drug screening. A strong multi-skill background and experience with technology are highly desirable. A diverse skill set and experience with technology are highly advantageous.
Hours:
•    Full-Time
•    Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 6pm
•    Saturday's are Optional

Some Requirements and Other Stuff
•    2 years of experience in residential remodeling or trades industry (5-7 years preferred)
•    Able to perform carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties.
•    Must be comfortable with heights and ladders (as high up as 40 feet)
•    Valid driver's license and clean driving record
•    Pass a background check and drug screening
•    Experience with Technology is a big plus - we use an iPad for work orders
•    Must have some experience with exterior repairs such as siding, soffit, and fascia repairs as well
•    Complete small to medium maintenance/repairs and mid-size home improvement projects
•    Strong ‘multi-skill’ background desired. Must have/own ‘day-to-day’ tools of the trade.
•    Deliver a consistent & remarkably better customer experience when working in their home.
•    Communicate with customers about scope of work, and cost estimates, and manage expectations.
•    Leave customers thrilled with your current work, and open doors to future work.
•    Be able to work independently.
