Material Handler

1. Patrol assigned area to inspect equipment for malfunctions and leakage.
2. Read flow meters, temperatures gauges and pressure gauges and record data.
3. Report operating conditions of units to Team Leader.
4. Turn valves and switches as directed to regulate temperature, pressure and flow rate of product and to regulate equipment such as pumps, compressors and blowers.
5. Push wet cake/DDG to conveyors as needed.
6. Keep roadways free of snow, ice, or other material.
7. Lubricate, clean and repair equipment as needed.
8. Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
9. Empty grain receiving sample buckets as needed.
10. Interact with other personnel to maintain safe, efficient operation of the plant.
11. Operate numerous plant machinery as needed to move supplies or products and/or clean at facility.
12. Work around railcars for loading and unloading of several supplies or products.
13. Assist with training new operators.
14. Learn and thoroughly understand immediate area of plant operations.
15. Other assignments or projects as requested by any member of management.
