Job Description
Our company is American Valley Waste Oil, we are a family ran business that has been operating for over 20 years. We are a trucking company that picks up hazardous waste in drums and bulk from shops across the valley, bay area and Salinas valley. In addition to picking up hazardous waste in drums we also process the drums of metal filters down to bricks that then go for recycling.
- The current position we have open is for our shop in Delhi processing metal filters off of cars/trucks
- This job will be operating a machine used to crush metal filters down to bricks that will then be recycled.
- This job is manual labor that will include loading and unloading 55 gallon barrels full of metal filters into the crushing machine.
- Must be able to safely handle the drums and filter crushing machine
- This position is PART TIME 2 to 3 days a week.
- Start time is typically 5am and ends at 2-3pm.
- Starting $17 an hour
- Overtime is paid after 8 hours daily.
- There is potential to move to full time in the future after trained in this position. That position would be driving a small box van to pick up drums of metal filters from customers.
Salary/Compensation: $17.00 per hour
