Summary Statement

 

This position is responsible for all Toyal America, Inc. (TAI) maintenance and asset integrity systems, the Maintenance Excellence Process, KPI generation and communications, contractor management, and project execution, proactively ensuring that solutions are followed through to completion and insuring compliance with all Federal, State, Local and, where necessary, International regulatory standards.

 

Nature and Scope

 

This position is responsible for all maintenance and reliability systems at TAI.  The incumbent will plan, schedule, and coordinate activities with operations, maintenance, technical, engineering, sales and personnel to assure the implementation of all necessary preventative maintenance, equipment repair and ensure sufficient documentation is maintained for TAI and Federal and State mandated programs.

 

This position will be the coordinator for site recurring and specialized contractors. 

 

This position is responsible for maintaining compliance issues, providing Federal and State mandated training programs and ensuring TAI is protected in all aspects of OSHA covered work processes.

 

The incumbent will communicate with and coordinate with regulatory agencies with regard to required asset inspection and audits to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. 

 

This position will inform management of compliance standards and any regulatory changes that may affect plant operations.

 

The position will act as contributor to the site safety teams to assist in the decision making of any asset integrity matters that may have the potential to affect the plant facility.

 

This position requires interaction with Consultants, Specialists, and State and Federal agencies to maintain expertise on compliance issues.

  

Essential Functions

 

  • Responsible for all planning, scheduling, and safe work of all maintenance functions and personnel (one direct and 6 indirect reports)

 

  • Investigates all accidents/injuries involving reporting personnel. Notifies management of pertinent details, root cause and preventable measures

 

  • Responsible for coordinating with contractors on site to ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed.

 

  • Assist with and maintain ISO Systems as required.

 

  • This position will participate all site hazard studies (HAZOP revalidation, PSSR, etc.).

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

4-year college degree in mechanical engineering, or industrial management and/or 10+ years of industrial experience in mechanical integrity, maintenance excellence work processes management and project execution. 

 

The incumbent should have excellent communication skills and have a pro-active management style.
