Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Program CNC machines using CAM software
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist .
- Proficient in Fusion360 software
- Strong knowledge of detail work as well as prototype work with multiple offsets.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders and work in fast paced job shop environment.
- Familiarity with Haas Controls/5 axis machining a plus as well as 3d machining
- Solid understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations
- Experience with Adaptive milling as well as latest technology in tooling .
- Knowledge of in line probing as well as high precision work for Automotive and Aircraft industries.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to run multiple Haas machining centers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
