KEITH Manufacturing is hiring Welders to join our production team in Madras, Oregon. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy hands-on work. Build something that lasts. Weld with purpose.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for setting up and operating manual or semiautomatic welding machines.
• Layout, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies using welding equipment.
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances. 
• Understand proper quality weld standards (including slag removal.)
• Responsible for checking completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) 
  • May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
  • Welding experience preferred.
  • Able to read and follow blueprints.
  • Able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level, and square.
  • Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Working Conditions

• Works in a Weld Shop.
• Daily exposure to continual noise from machines.
• Exposure to intense light and hot material.

• MIG
• Grinders

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
