Class A CDL Driver

A Class A CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods over local, regional, or long-distance routes. Duties include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring cargo is properly loaded and secured, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation. Drivers must comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours-of-service requirements and safety standards. Strong knowledge of road safety, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle maintenance is essential. The role requires excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules while adapting to changing conditions such as weather or traffic. Effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members is important for coordinating deliveries and resolving issues. Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings. Physical stamina and reliability are critical for success in this role.
