NOTICE FOR POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER
Borough of Tyrone Police Department
The Tyrone Borough Police Department is accepting applications for the full-time position of Police Officer. Applications are available at the Tyrone Borough Municipal Building, 1100 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686. The Municipal Building is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4::00pm, except for holidays and weekends falling within said time. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE BOROUGH OFFICE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2026. Testing will include physical fitness, written
and oral tests, a background check, a medical examination, and a psychological examination. A complete copy of the Borough of Tyrones hiring policy, as set forth in its Civil Service Rules, is available for inspection during regular business hours at 1100 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686.
