Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift

2nd - M- F  3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

3rd - SU-TH  11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Responsible for monitoring and enhancing the quality of manufactured products. Performs testing, measurement, investigation, and evaluation of products and materials to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Counter Verification: Inspect produced products through random sampling to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
  • Laboratory Testing: Conduct product tests using computer programs, measuring tools, and laboratory equipment.
  • Research & Development: Lead and participate in trial studies to develop new or improved products, maintaining accurate records and detailed analysis.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Record, analyze, and interpret data; escalate issues when necessary and communicate findings effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and support cross-functional projects focused on identifying issues, problem-solving, and implementing quality improvements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Utilize Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, Pareto charts, and other tools to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Investigation & Action Plans: Initiate investigations, develop corrective actions, and proactively prevent non-conforming products.
  • Process Instruction Writing: Research, create, and update clear process instructions, training materials, and job aids using standard formats.
  • Trainer: Train and coach personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper work practices.
  • Performance Indicators: Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Quality Department using computer-based systems.
  • Content Creation: Create educational videos, training materials, and presentations for Town Hall meetings and other company forums.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of production experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of quality control experience.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
  • Excellent work ethic, reliability, and flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound decision-making ability.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally using proper techniques.
  • Ability to move throughout a 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing/warehouse facility with frequent activity and machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and communicate essential information clearly to co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a non–climate-controlled environment.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computers and general office equipment.
  • Correctable vision and hearing required.

 

 


Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
