Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the CAD Designer will be to work closely with project planners and engineers in developing project specific technical drawings. Additional responsibilities will be non-technical graphical design and working with project engineers in support of project development tasks.
Requirements:
- A two-year college or technical school drafting/design program degree
- Minimum of five years’ experience with both AutoCAD and MicroStation computer aided design software packages
- Ability to develop a companywide CAD Program
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to quality check own work products
- Ability to work under supervision of planners and engineers in a team environment
- Read and interpret engineering plans and sketches
