Help shape county-wide information governance and lead digital transformation. As a Senior Analyst in Enterprise Records Management, you will design and implement enterprise records policies, analyze business processes, and digitally transform them into electronic records workflows that improve efficiency and compliance. You’ll document processes before and after transformation, deliver advanced training, and serve as a trusted advisor on records lifecycle decisions.

What you’ll do
  • Author and update enterprise records policies and retention schedules in line with legal/regulatory changes.
  • Analyze departmental business processes and re-engineer them into automated electronic records workflows.
  • Document processes pre- and post-transformation for transparency and audit readiness.
  • Provide governance guidance to departments; interpret policy, classification, retention, and disposition.
  • Design and deliver advanced training and reference materials; promote adoption and audit readiness.
  • Partner with IST teams to align policy with platform capabilities and metadata standards.
  • Perform other work as required.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s in Information Management, Public Administration, or related field; 5+ years in records management or compliance, with demonstrable policy development and stakeholder engagement experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in business process analysis and workflow automation; familiarity with electronic records platforms.
  • Expert understanding of records lifecycle and legal compliance; strong writing/training skills; interpersonal strengths to influence across departments.
  • Familiarity with digital records systems and metadata standards.  Experience with Laserfiche and SharePoint a plus.
  • Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check, and education/degree verification required.
  • This position is a part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience.
  • This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check. Must be a US citizen or have been a lawful resident of the US for the past ten consecutive years.
