Ypsilanti Township is now hiring Entry Level Firefighters.

Starting Wage & Benefits
$20.12/hour - $64,142/year
Includes an excellent benefits package.

Minimum Requirements
At least 18 years old
U.S. citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
Copy of Photo Identification
Valid driver's license with no more than 6 points in the past 5 years*
Michigan Firefighter I & II Certification
State of Michigan or National Registry EMT Basic License
Written exam score of 70% or higher (exam done through Conference of Western Wayne or EMPCO)
Valid nationally recognized CPAT at time of hire
Copies of all certifications must be included with the application packet
*Applicants with an out of state driver's license must provide a driving record from the issuing state.
