General Education - Sciences Instructor

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor in the General Education - Sciences area.  This individual will offer instruction in the fields of Biology, Chemistry and Physical Science beginning with the Fall 2026 semester.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in the subject matter field OR
• Master’s Degree in any other field with at least 18 credit hours in the subject matter field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Kansas Teaching Certificate is not required; however, teaching experience is preferred

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-time, 9-month position
• A competitive salary range of $40,000-$54,000, commensurate with experience and education level
• KPERS retirement plan
• Employer-paid health insurance for the employee
• Annual salary is distributed over 12 months
• Flexible teaching schedule
