Wal-Mart is seeking a Data Scientist III in Bentonville, AR. Job duties incl but not limited to translating/ co-owning bus. problems w/in one's discipline to data rel. or mathematical solutions. Master's or equiv in Stats, Eng'g, Analytics, Math, CS, IT or rel. fld; OR Bachelor's or equiv in Stats, Eng'g, Analytics, Math, CS, IT or rel. fld & 2 yrs of exp in analytics or rel. exp. Skills req'd incl but not limited to exp w/: Validating data quality, bus. systs & processes using SQL, vector databases & NoSQL; Optimizing data storage & processing across platforms; Translating bus. problems into data-driven solutions by aligning w/ product req'mts, bus. goals to provide strategic recommendation.
