Service Technician/ Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician / Installer to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential water treatment equipment.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites to install new equipment, troubleshoot existing systems, and provide professional training to customers on how to operate their systems. The ideal candidate is technically minded, a problem solver, and comfortable working with their hands.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain residential water treatment systems according to manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
• Run necessary plumbing and ensure all aesthetics meet customer expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.

Troubleshooting & Repair:

• Diagnose technical issues on-site and execute necessary repairs efficiently.
• Manage plumbing inventory and request materials/repair parts as needed.

Customer Service:

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding the status of their installation or repair.
• Demonstrate system features and educate customers on proper usage and care.
• Complete work orders, logs, and payment processing via Housecall Pro software.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in plumbing or residential maintenance is preferred.
• Experience: Plumbing or residential maintenance.
• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Certifications: Not required
• Tools: Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. Company supplies all tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50-80 lbs).
• Comfortable working at heights of 8-10ft (climbing ladders) and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces).
• Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
