We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for healthcare-focused projects, including dental, veterinary, and medical office facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all healthcare construction standards, codes, and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on construction experience, and a strong understanding of the unique requirements of healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations from project start through completion
Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications
Coordinate project schedules, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
Enforce all safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe jobsite
Ensure compliance with healthcare construction requirements, including infection control, noise management, and clean-site standards
Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate progress, issues, and updates with project managers and stakeholders
Review construction drawings, RFIs, and change orders to ensure accurate execution
Perform quality control inspections and promptly address deficiencies
Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent; healthcare construction experience preferred
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and healthcare-specific regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced project schedules
Experience working in active or occupied healthcare environments preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
OSHA 30 certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites

Familiarity with medical, dental, and veterinary equipment coordination
Experience with renovations, tenant improvements, and ground-up healthcare projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Ability to adapt quickly and resolve field challenges efficiently
