Armed ODO Guard

We are seeking an Armed ODO Guard to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. We are seeking a highly trained and vigilant ARMED OFFICER (ODO) to join our security team in Los Angeles. This role is vital for maintaining safety, enforcing security protocols, and protecting assets within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong law enforcement, surveillance, and conflict management skills, along with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Prior experience in military service, or law enforcement is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload

Strong attention to detail

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Guard Card
• Military and/or Law Enforcement experience required
• Must possess a Firearm Permit and/or CCW
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to write accurate, detailed DARs
• Must be able to stand and patrol for 3+ hours
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must maintain a professional, presentable appearance at all times
• Flexible availability; must be able to work variable hours
• Ability to handle emergency situations and de-escalate when needed
• Familiarity with Los Angeles and surrounding areas

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Shifts Available: Swing Shift
