We are seeking a Water And Sewer Construction Worker And Heavy Equipment Operator to become a part of our team! With adequate experience, you will operate heavy equipment and possibly trucks, in addition to performing hands-on construction tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Safely, efficiently, and accurately operate excavators, loaders, and possibly bulldozers
- Load and unload pipe and materials
- Inspect trucks and equipment before and after use
- Communicate need for maintenance or repair
- Work in trenches and excavations as necessary to lay pipe and assemble fittings and fire hydrants, etc.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with water and sewer or septic system construction
- Very strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Heavy equipment experience; able to dig and grade accurately
- Commercial Driver's License (STRONGLY desired, but not absolutely necessary)
- Very strong basic math skills
- Commitment to doing very high quality work while maintaining a good attitude
