Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extrusion experience a plus.
Mathematical Skills
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to quickly and accurately compare color and pattern of products on the basis of visual stimuli to quality control standards.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud, and PPE is required. Appropriate hearing protection while in the plant is required as noise levels within the facility meet OSHA requirements for hearing protection equipment.
