Job Responsibilities:
- Manage diagnosing machine issues, troubleshooting, handling repairs, maintain mechanical and electrical systems across a range of equipment including CNC Machines, Manual Machines, Bridgeport’s, Lathes, Grinders, CMM, A/C units and all production and building equipment.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance inspections including safety hazards, preventive maintenance schedules, record keeping, and updating logs accordingly.
- Conduct monthly OSHA compliant safety training for all staff and safety audits.
- Ensure we are compliant and up to date with OSHA safety regulations.
- Handle inventory supplies needed for machine and general maintenance repairs.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and construction of industrial machinery.
- Execute facility maintenance tasks which may include welding, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs.
- Maintains shop storage, tools, equipment, and spare parts for inventory as assigned.
- Building painting, renovation, assembling shelves, and moving equipment as needed.
- Operate forklift to move, load and unload supplies and shop materials. Delivery driver as needed for our company truck (manual).
- Maintain landscape and possible janitorial support when required.
- Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must read, write and have outstanding communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft computer skills (Excel and Word).
- Proactive in anticipating, problem solving and resolving issues ahead of time.
- Technical machinery and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to be diplomatic, use common sense, and keep confidentiality.
- Flexible, proactive, positive and natural ability to coach employees.
- Prioritizing, able to multi task and shift projects.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED, Advance/Certified Facility Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, FAA repair station experience a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Safety Certification.
- LOTO Certification and/or de-energizing machinery and accidental start-up during maintenance.
- NFPA 70E and/or Electrical Safety Certification.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights for extended periods.
