Application Engineer (Software Developer)

Application Engineer (Software Developer) needed for HCA Management Services located in Nashville, TN. Engage in analysis, design and development of web-based applications. Write code and assist in development of new products/features and enhance and/or maintain existing ones. Build and maintain automated deployment frameworks. Design and implement highly scalable applications that take advantage of distributed infrastructure on cloud servers. Engage in data cleaning, data manipulation, data analytics, and data visualization. Use Python, Spark, SQL, JavaScript, node.js, react.js, and data bricks. The employee may work remotely from home within commuting distance of Nashville, TN up to 3 days per week. Must have a bachelors degree in computer science or engineering and 2 years of experience in the tasks and skill sets listed in the job description. Will also accept a MS in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering. No experience required but must have coursework that covers the tasks and skill sets listed above.
