AVP, Quantitative Researcher (Stamford, CT). Lead the design and development of advanced algorithmic financial models to support strategic trading decisions. Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing and risk across a broad spectrum of trading products, ensuring alignment with trading and risk objectives. Research and develop predictive algorithmic models for power and gas commodity fundamentals to forecast prices. Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to address practical issues in derivative valuation, securities trading, and risk management. Develop core analytical capabilities using advanced statistical and quantitative techniques. Work closely with senior traders and cross-functional teams to define model specifications, refine data collection strategies, and develop analytical solutions to enhance trading strategies and risk management practices. Supervise junior quantitative researchers. Monday - Friday 40+ hours per week. From $125,000 to $225,000 per year.
