Genesis provides over 25% of the Birth, Death and Life event data to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and contracts directly with State Departments of Health and Hospital Systems. The position requires review of contracts, conducting Joint Application Design sessions, assuring contract compliance and limiting "scope creep". Genesis contracts are generally for the development of state-wide enterprise level Vital Record applications and include modules for Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce, and Point of Sale Systems facilitating Issuance of Certified Copies.  Genesis retains ownership to all developed code and operates nationally.
