Our Support Coordinators (case managers) who serve the OIDDS (Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Supports formerly OCDD (Office of Citizens with Developmental Disabilities) population serve a caseload of about 35-45 participants. These participants live in their homes and communities and receive support (which can be physical, medical, educational, or vocational) to assist them in remaining in their desired settings. The primary role of the Support Coordinator is to plan, organize, implement, and monitor the in-home and community-based services and support the participant receives. All new hires complete an initial training program of about 6 weeks. During this time, you will learn how to plan, schedule, and coordinate services to meet our participants' needs.
