SUN Area Technical Institute

  SUN Area Technical Institute is seeking a permanent, full-time HVAC Technology Instructor beginning the 2026-2027 school year.   The selected candidate must either hold the PDE certificate in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician, CIP Code 47.0201 (Occupational Competency Area: HVAC Maintenance Technology 5937) or  possess the qualifications necessary to obtain the certification. Candidates who are not currently PDE certified must have four or more years of recent full-time, wage-earning experience beyond the training period in HVAC Maintenance and must be willing to complete the PDE-required coursework and certification process during their employment with SUN Area Technical Institute. SUN Area Technical Institute will provide support for the costs associated with obtaining the required certification.
